Introduction These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) establish the legal agreement between you (“Subscriber,” “you,” or “your”) and MoneyRadar Media Inc., a corporation incorporated under the federal laws of Canada (“MoneyRadar,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). MoneyRadar operates the MoneyRadar.com website, together with its mobile or desktop applications and any associated application-programming interfaces (collectively, the “Services”), which deliver real-time financial-market news, data visualisations, and expert commentary. By accessing or using any part of the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
Acceptance of Terms You accept these Terms when you (a) create an account; (b) click “I Agree,” “Accept,” or similar; (c) execute an order form referencing these Terms; or (d) otherwise use the Services. If you act on behalf of an organisation, you warrant that you have authority to bind that entity, and “you” will also refer to that entity. If you do not agree to every provision herein, do not use the Services.
Description of Services Subscription tiers may provide:
News Wire – continuously updated articles on equities, fixed income, commodities, crypto-assets, and macro-economic policy;
Market Dashboards – streaming prices, heat maps, economic-release countdowns, and technical-indicator overlays;
Analyst Briefings – daily audio or PDF digests highlighting sector rotation, valuation trends, and geopolitical catalysts;
Alert Engine – custom push or email notifications for price spikes, earnings surprises, and central-bank statements; and
Data API – programmatic endpoints for time-series downloads and sentiment metrics (fair-use limits apply).
The Services supply general information only; they do not constitute personalised investment advice, portfolio management, tax preparation, or legal counsel, and no fiduciary relationship is created.
Subscriber Responsibilities You agree to:
provide accurate and current registration, billing, and contact details and update them promptly;
maintain the confidentiality of usernames, passwords, and multi-factor credentials, granting access only to authorised users;
verify the accuracy of data exports and analytical outputs before relying on them for trading or business decisions;
comply with applicable securities, intellectual-property, and privacy laws when using, sharing, or redistributing content;
refrain from scraping, re-hosting, or commercial retransmission of our content without written permission; and
notify us without undue delay of any suspected unauthorised use of, or security incident involving, your account.
Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, MoneyRadar and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages—or for any loss of profits, revenue, trading gains, data, or goodwill—arising out of or related to the Services, even if advised of the possibility. Our aggregate liability for all claims under these Terms will not exceed the subscription fees you paid during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to liability. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud or wilful misconduct.
Intellectual Property All software, algorithms, news articles, graphics, trademarks, logos, and documentation included in or generated by the Services are and remain the exclusive property of MoneyRadar or its licensors and are protected by Canadian and international intellectual-property laws. Subject to continuous compliance with these Terms, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Services solely for personal or internal business analysis. Except as permitted by mandatory law, you may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, distribute, or create derivative works from any portion of the Services.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction These Terms are governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Toronto, Ontario, and each party irrevocably submits to that jurisdiction.
Termination of Access We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services: (a) upon thirty (30) days’ written notice if you materially breach these Terms and fail to cure within that period; (b) immediately if required by law, regulatory order, or court judgment; or (c) if you become insolvent or cease business. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ends, but Sections 5–7 and 9–11 survive. Provided all outstanding fees are paid, you will have thirty (30) days from the effective termination date to export any data available under your plan.
Refund Policy
Subscription fees are billed in advance. You may cancel at any time; cancellation becomes effective at the end of the current billing cycle. If you cancel within fourteen (14) days of your initial purchase and have not viewed more than twenty (20) premium articles or executed more than five hundred (500) API calls, you may request a full refund. After that threshold—or after the fourteen-day period—fees are non-refundable except where consumer-protection legislation requires otherwise.
Changes to Terms We may amend these Terms to reflect changes in law, industry standards, or product functionality. Revised Terms will be posted on the website with an updated “Effective Date.” Material changes will take effect thirty (30) days after posting; we will also notify active Subscribers by email or in-app banner. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.
Effective Date
These Terms and Conditions are effective as of 19 June 2025 and apply to all access to or use of the Services on or after that date.
